Education Advisor / Counsellor (Rm3500/Month)

Company Description SEEKA Technologies is a project in development under its parent organisation called Fresh Futures which is an education agency based in Melbourne, Australia.It is an App-based platform that functions as a very large and comprehensive search engine for educational courses (Vocational courses, Diplomas, Degrees, etc) being offered by thousands of Educational institutions all over the world that students from all around the world can apply to.

We are currently looking to hire and train experiencedEducation Advisors/Counsellors to help drive SEEKA's business model which mainly entails facilitating and supporting student applications to the right places and for the right courses/learning programs.

Job Description:

- To assist students with the application process to colleges and Universities on the SEEKA platform.
- To guide students towards the right career paths or the diploma/degree they should pursue.
- To sell the right educational prospects to potential students.
- To streamline the experience for students applying to higher institutions.
- Be able to quickly conduct research or adapt quickly to different situations (For example, the student wants to apply to a course being conducted in Europe and you must find out what requirements they need to apply for a student ViSA)
- To continuously learn on the job and to guide others when needed or be a team player

- To get colleges to sign up and join the SEEKA platform

The requirementsand job responsibilitiesinclude:

- Good communication skills with both students and parents, locally and internationally.
- Being able to quickly conduct research on entry or ViSA requirementson the spot in the case of international applications.
- Willing to take on a challenge when dealing with different sets of College or University requirements as you help students apply.
- Coordinating with the sales team and management.
- Willing to take on more work or work at different times depending on the user and their circumstance (ex. their location and time difference)
- Sales or a call centre experience
- Ability to achieve KPIs and sales targets
- Have strong written & verbal communication skills
- Time management and negotiation skills
- Able to emphasis on teamwork and collaboration
- Be able to effectively communicate in a consultative manner
- Career counselling experience would be a bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2500 to RM3500

Qualifications

- Good English proficiency
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Has any relevant degree to being an Education Advisor
