**Executive Chef****(Based in The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort, Redang Island)****EMBARK ON AN EXCITING JOURNEY**Surrounded by the spectacular, crystal clear waters of the South China Sea, The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort bestows a bespoke luxury experience amid warm Asian hospitality for those seeking privacy and exclusivity.We are currently seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and elevate our resort's dining offerings to new heights.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.- Conduct regular tastings and inspections to ensure compliance with established culinary standards.- Develop and manage budgets for the Kitchen department.- Familiar with Chinese cuisine, excellent cooking techniques, dishes that can meet the taste of Chinese guests.- Responsible for develop menus and well versed in making various Chinese dishes to serve the Resort's Guests need.**EXPERIENCES**:- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end resort or fine dining establishment- Strong leadership and team management skills- A dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong organizational and time-management skills- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays- Flexibility to adapt to changing culinary trends and guest preferences**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per monthSchedule:- Day shift- Monday to Friday**Experience**:- Chinese Dishes/ Menu: 10 years (required)**Language**:- Mandarin (required)Ability to Commute:- Kuala Terengganu (required)Ability to Relocate:- Kuala Terengganu: Relocate before starting work (required)
