Executive (Construction)

Details of the offer

Support the project manager in overseeing the construction process from inception to completion, ensuring timely achievement of all project milestones.
Manage daily operations and collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless coordination.
Support the project manager in tracking and managing project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient execution and delivery.
Support the project manager in reviewing and verifying work progress claims, delivery orders (DO), and invoices, as well as obtaining approvals for issuing purchase orders (PO), resolutions, and official letters.
Arrange and maintain meeting schedules, record minutes, ensure proper documentation filing, and familiarize yourself with contract documents and construction drawings.
Assist in managing daily documentation for construction activities, oversee material submissions, and facilitate sample approvals.
Liaise with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and authorities for documentation release matters.
Draft correspondence letters as required.
Support in planning and conducting project site inspections and coordinating regular site meetings.
Act as a liaison and attend site meetings with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the superior.
Requirements A minimum qualification of SPM/"O" Level, Diploma/Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, M&E Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Sustainable and Renewable Energy, or any related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience in construction management or project development, preferably with experience in large-scale retail, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
Experience working with MNCs or on international projects is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and technologies.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office, MS Project, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, or similar) and design tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Malay, with proficiency in Japanese preferred.
Open to interstate travel.
Strong document organization skills.
