Job Description:
Responsibility
To support in building a resilient supply chain and responsible sourcing by mapping all raw materials to mills and to plantations.
The work shall help in building supply chain insights, developing landscape programmes on forest and peat restoration, fair labour, net zero, and smallholders' inclusion.
To process and collate global supply data, monitor supply of raw materials for all downstream refineries, and develop the quarterly internal Traceability Declaration Documents.
To maintain up-to-date traceability datasets of oil palm plantations, mills, and Business Units for SDG operations globally.
To analyse supply chain data with Geographic Information System (GIS) to verify deforestation allegations, combine external datasets, and communicate progress on sourcing footprints.
To assess suppliers' sustainable sourcing performance using publicly available information and NDPE Implementation Reporting Framework (NDPE-IRF).
To disclose progress on traceability, sustainable sourcing performance, and initiatives publicly and to respond to customers' queries/questionnaires.
To assist in developing carbon footprint accounting and reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in science, business, finance/accounting, engineering, or data/information technology.
Experience in sustainability-related work is an added advantage.
Knowledge in Supply Chain Traceability and sustainability-related fields, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI, mapping, and spatial analysis using QGIS.
