PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Stabilising the platform:
Support the Product Manager in prioritising, coordinating and communicating the resolution of live product issues within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Continuous improvement:
Ensure the evolution of the relevant product(s), where appropriate by delivering through central capabilities (internal team and System Integrator (SI)) Own the technical Product roadmap in alignment with overall Product Strategy and release plan and planning of Program Increments (PIs) and Iterations Write user stories/ requirements and acceptance tests Managing end-to-end delivery of product iterations, prioritising work and making appropriate trade-offs Communicate progress, proactively manage risks and issues, escalating to the Product Manager - where necessary Collaborate effectively with Procurement Compliance Business Owners, DRGs, designers, architects, data scientists, Report Analysts, other product teams across the Group, along with 3rd parties to launch new products - maximising re-use across the group Understand and report progress against agreed outcomes and related success measures Use data to drive analysis of new features / iterations and drive prioritisation of future work Ensure that system training materials are amended to reflect new product iterations and published on the relevant Learning Management System (LMS), and deliver training where required
Governing and empowering:
Continually promote knowledge of the STS platform across regions and markets
Maximising usage:
When escalated by the relevant Subject Matter Expert (SME), support them in collaborating and influencing End Market SMEs and/or Leadership Team members to deploy initiatives to improve the End Market adoption and compliance metrics beyond benchmark/threshold within an acceptable timeframe Generate and analyse the relevant product(s) adoption and compliance metrics and benchmarks/thresholds in the relevant Dashboard(s) on a periodic basis Collaborate and influence with End Market Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify the root causes and deploy initiatives to improve the adoption metrics beyond benchmark/threshold within an acceptable timeframe Provide necessary support to the End Market SMEs and escalate to relevant Product Manager and End Market Leadership Team in cases of significant gaps and/or negative trends Monitor and repeat periodically, as specified above.
Retrofit:
Coordinate and guarantee that new capabilities are delivered for current live markets for relevant product(s), with sufficient quality and testing Actively manage, contribute to and invigorate the Super User Community for relevant product(s), ensuring its sustained long term. This includes ensuring New Super Users are appointed when needed Coordinate the updating of system training content and materials (including end user training slides, instructor slides, Quick Reference Guides (QRG), training scenarios and eLearning materials) for relevant product(s) and the publishing these on the BAT Learning Management System (LMS)
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Skills required
Degree educated IT professional with business-facing IT experience in a global environment Solid technical background including technical skills in Coupa and system integration Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with working knowledge of agile practices Ability to analyse processes and data to draw insight, and identify opportunities Proactivity and initiative, a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work unsupported Strong problem-solving skills Ability to recognise the concepts of shared responsibility and effective collaboration Willingness to learn, experiment and collaborate Commitment to ongoing personal development and the ability to recognise and celebrate effort and success of colleagues Strong communication skills, ability to relay complex technical issues in business speak
Experience
IT professional with, as a guideline 5 to7 years’ experience in the field Multinational FMCG (ideally tobacco) and FTSE-100 experience Hands on experience of Procurement Systems, Coupa (Source to Settle) Familiarity with the complete Coupa platform suite and roadmap including AIC, Risk Assess and the core modules for sourcing and requisition to pay Knowledge Source to Settle process Experience of ECC Integration Experience with developing and deploying solutions through DevOps Experience of global deployment of Coupa Experience of managing delivery within a multi SI environment Experience of managing a complex stakeholder landscape Experience of operating DevOps and the use of DevOps toolsets Experience of SOx compliance
