Fashion Designer [Urgent Hiring]

We are looking for a Fashion Designer to join our Fashion Merchandise team. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, sourcing materials and managing manufacturers. The Fashion Designer will be creating merchandise that includes, but not limited to, T-Shirts, Hoodies, Caps and etc
Responsibilities
• Managing design process from conception through to final styling.
• Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and
create new concepts.
• Conceptualize and sketch designs for development packages.
• Oversee production and material sourcing with manufacturers
• Analyse trends in fabric and trims, colors and shapes
• Collaborate with the Marketing and e-Commerce teams to collect data for future
production
• Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and
seeking design inspiration.
• Ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy.
• Collaborating with technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate.
• Reviewing product for style and fit during presentation.
• Presenting story, mood, color boards, and samples to team and buyers.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Diploma and equivalent in Communication Arts or related field
• Minimum 2 years in fashion design or design related field
• Solid experience in digital art and/or design software such Adobe Illustrator and
Photoshop
• Portfolio of previous work
• Creative mindset
• Interest in exports and gaming would be an added advantage
