Job Description
Oversee all financial operations and guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Prepare budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data.
Provide financial advice to the leadership team for long-term business planning.
Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
Develop and manage financial controls within the organization.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
Report financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances, and developing improvements.
Manage team of finance personnel, fostering a well-qualified and engaged workforce.
The Successful Applicant
A successful finance controller should have:
Proven accounting and finance experience in the Transport & Distribution industry.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, data management, and financial analysis.
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional accounting certification.
