Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
Fixed and Utilities PayablesReconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
Pays suppliers; verifying GST IDs; scheduling and preparing cheques; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
Accounting GeneralMaintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.
Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups.
Assist in weekly sales reconciliation.
Check and update stock balance.
