Tasks & responsibilities
Lead and develop the Accounts Receivable team, setting clear performance objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
Oversee AR functions specifically related to retail outlets, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and collections.
Collaborate with outlet managers to understand and resolve payment issues and streamline invoicing processes.
Generate and analyze AR reports, providing insights on receivables aging, collection efficiency, and cash flow forecasts.
Present findings to senior management and recommend actionable strategies.
Support the team with any other tasks or projects as needed, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Perform any other duties as determined by the Management, which is considered beneficial to the Company and within your capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred.
At least 1-2 years of experience in finance, with a focus on accounts receivable in the retail sector.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL and financial software/ERP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective communication within our multinational team.
