Job Responsibilties
Lead the finance team and responsible for overall finance activities
Oversee daily operations and ensure internal operational matters work smoothly and effectively and adhere with SOP
Preparation & compilation of budget & forecast and cost monitoring
Responsible on monthly closing and review of active accounts
Preparation of monthly reports and variance analysis
To submit financial & statutory reports and ad-hoc reports to management / external parties on time
Oversee AR and AP functions to ensure correct billing, timely update of collections, arrears and accurate payment
To standardize the financial report supporting schedules as to improve the days to complete month end analysis and management queries
Review of documentations such as legal documents, payment vouchers, journal vouchers, internal audit reports and reconciliations
Liaise with auditors and tax authorities on statutory compliance matters
Ensure compliance with relevant Acts in Malaysia.
Coordinate & ensure timely submission of all returns
Ensure proper control of cash inflows and outflows
Review, improve and ensure proper implementation of financial processes, policies and procedures.
Ensure timely submission and filling of SST and withholding taxes
Any other tasks to be assigned and general administration from time to time.
Requreiments
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related professional accounting qualification
Member of ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA or related an added advantage
At least 5 years of working experience in accounting field.
Familiar with Malaysian Accounting Standards and other relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
Good communication skills, committed and strong sense of responsibility
Able to be multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision
Able to work under stress and tight datelines
Preferably with property/real estate industry related experience.
Possess own transport
