Key Responsibilities:Financial Management & Reporting:Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
Develop financial strategies and forecasts to support business objectives.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue to optimize financial performance.Accounting Operations:Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Manage financial audits, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.Taxation & Compliance:Ensure timely tax filings (GST/SST, corporate tax, withholding tax, etc.).
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and financial regulations.
Provide recommendations on tax planning and compliance.Team Leadership & Development:Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring high performance and productivity.
Conduct training sessions to enhance accounting knowledge and skills.
Set goals and KPIs for the accounting department.Budgeting & Cost Control:Develop and manage the company's budget in collaboration with senior management.
Analyze financial performance and recommend cost-saving measures.
Monitor and control operational expenses to improve profitability.Stakeholder & Vendor Management:Work closely with other departments to align financial goals with business operations.
Manage relationships with banks, suppliers, tax consultants, and financial institutions.Key Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
