**Key Responsibilities**The Financial Controller is responsible for planning, organising, managing and executing the finances and financial goals of the Hotel. His or her responsibilities include maintaining and controlling an accounting system that properly reflects the Hotel financial information in compliance with all pertinent financial regulations and laws, and ensure delivery of accurate and timely financial reports to the Hotel GM, EXCOM and owners.**Jobs Descriptions**- Overall management, operations and control of the accounting process & functions of the Hotel, covering financial & management reporting, budgeting & forecasting, legal matters, internal control, credit management, billing, capex evaluation, financial analysis, cash & working capital management, tax, audit, corporate / statutory compliance.- Development and implementation of effective accounting strategies, policies, and procedures aligning with the Hotel's goals and objectives.- Manage various sections of accounting, taxation and finance operations involving GL / AR / AP / treasury / inventory / procurement / cost control / fixed assets and hotel systems.- Monitor all local tax compliance that applies and work with external auditors on year-end audit preparations- Provide functional guidance to the Hotel management team and effectively communicate with all levels to drive financial performance and internal controls.- Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability- Identify and mitigate financial risks.- Any other relevant ad-hoc job requirements as delegated by management from time to time.**Job Requirements**- Minimum 5 years high-quality experience in financial managerial position, preferably in the Hospitality Industry- Excellence leadership, interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to work independently- Strong organizational, budget management, and problem solving skills- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, tax regulations, financial analysis and modelling- Computer literate, proficiency in accounting software and familiar with PMS system- Applicable to Malaysian citizen only
