THE POSITION Do you have experience working in the field of entomology and interested in protecting natural resources, this position may be just what you are looking for! This position provides technical assistance in the field working .

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The individual in this position assists in the control of diseases and insects affecting plant industries; conducts tree inventory and plant pest surveys. Assists in the development, implementation and reporting plant pest control projects. Establishes monitoring sites, deploys traps, inspects and maintains traps. Acts as lead worker with Forest Insect Pest Aide 1 when performing property assessments for control work. Attends meetings for committees, task forces and program meetings assigned by Supervisor. Prepares a variety of reports and records.
