Front End Developer

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript, potentially utilizing frameworks such as Angular, React and Vue.js.
• Provide guidance and advice in regards to front-end technicalities.
• Evolve own skills; stay up-to-date with tech and digital advertising trends and best practices.
• Able to work closely with designers and back-end programmers and understand the processes and requirements.
• Work closely with team members to deliver functional web and mobile based applications.
• Take ownership of all projects / accounts assigned.
QUALIFICATION:
• Diploma or Degree in Design, Information Technology, Computer Science, or any other areas that are relevant to web development.
• 3-5+ years of experience in web-based UI design and development.
RESPONSIBILITY:
• Develop responsive web applications based on given designs using HTML, CSS and JavaScript,JQuery, potentially with MVP/MVC frameworks such as Angular, React and Vue.js.
• Guide juniors and advise other developers in regards to front-end coding.
• Contribution of ideas and technicality from a front-end perspective for project requirements.
• Build prototypes and proof of concepts to help demonstrate and visualize ideas clearly.
• Handle maintenance of websites such as content updates and promotional page development.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent knowledge in HTML , CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript,Jquery to create clean & scalable code for cross-browser compatible, responsive Web Applications.
• Excellent knowledge in PHP programming language, MVC frameworks such as CodeIgniter, Laravel is a plus.
• Hands-on experience on any of the following: Angular, React, Vue.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with source code management using Git.
• Know-how on front-end workflow and build tools such as Gulp.
• Know-how on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe XD to extract visuals as assets for web application development.
• Understanding on modern web-browser capabilities.
• Understanding on APIs/REST principles and semantics.
• Meticulous in code discipline, able to quickly write code that is good, functional, clean and consistent.
• Able to work independently as well as distribute and monitor tasks within a team environment.
• Independently and frequently keep up-to-date on recent front-end web technologies and developments.
• Keenly sensitive to the factors that lead to good UI/UX on a web application.
