DUTIES:
Fostering a carefree retirement lifestyle, inspired by choice and the Well Being Model in a vibrant community, Ingleside at King Farm is seeking Geriatric Nursing Assistants.
Ideal applicants will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as compassion for residents and team members.
Primary tasks will include but are not limited to:
Assisting with the activities of daily living
Participating enthusiastically and actively contributing to a positive team environment
Taking a proactive approach to the concerns of resident, families and staff
Assuring that all residents are treated fairly and with kindness, dignity, and respect
Responding to resident calls in a timely fashion
Creating an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and calm in the work environment
Placing resident and staff satisfaction first
Leading by example
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one (1) to three (3) years of clinical nursing assistant experience and Geriatric Nursing Assistant certificate required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and be knowledgeable in restorative and medical nursing principles and practices.
