Responsibilities
Apply various media using graphic design software.
Work with copywriters, stylists, executives, and producers to produce quality work translated via graphics.
Learn new graphic design softwares to enhance work quality and style.
Film videos on set or on location
Meet and plan with marketing team to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created
Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format
Edit footage into timelines and cut time out of certain shots to create a more impactful story for the audience
Combine visual footage with audio sound effects, dialogue, ambient sound and a musical soundtrack to create more drama in the story
Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to clients and receive approval before beginning to digitally alter video
Improve video and sound quality using various video software
Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
Ensure all editing cuts, splices, changes and additions appear seamless and natural and help the story flow more effectively in the finished product
Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to company's specifications

Qualifications
Possess at least Diploma or higher in Art, Design, Creative Multimedia, film editing
Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
Creative experience in filmmaking and videography
Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with creative team and the ability to bring them to life
Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply company with top-notch finalized products
Proficient in graphic designskills with a strong portfolio.
Able to interact, communicate and present ideas.
Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc).
Exceptionally proficient in all design aspects.
