Position at GroupM Overview of job GroupM is the worlds largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for the Senior Manager/ Manager, Buying - Programmatic to join us. In this role, you will responsible for leads a team specialized on programmatic marketing activation for a portfolio of GroupM Agencys clients and ensure best in class media buying and delivery to meet and optimize campaign KPIs

This role reports to: Associate Director/ Director, Buying - Programmatic

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

- Gain an in depth understanding of the programmatic landscape, be trained on the various platforms and tools and have an understanding of how COE operates
- Incorporate and recommend other aspects of the business including audience planning and insights as part of the overall campaign strategy and execution
- Develop relationships and earn trust with your own team as well as the regional operation teams
- Good understanding on CPL,ROAS,CPV benchmarking for the Client In six months, you would:

- Mentor, guide and lead your team both a day-to-day aspect as well as from a talent development perspective
- Become a trusted advisor and partner to local market teams
- Approach Trading from a strategic perspective and incorporate Test and learn initiatives and knowledge share with the wider trading team in all aspects of Programmatic Trading In 12 months, you would:
- Develop and identify gaps/processes/tools to improve campaign performance and efficiency
- Identify gaps and opportunities areas for your local markets and support them to maintain their edge and always stay ahead in the programmatic space within their local markets
- Develop your team and their talents - identify opportunity areas for them to grow
What your day job looks like at GroupM:

- Able to strategize, optimize and deliver on clients programmatic KPIs such as CPL, CPA, CPM & App install
- Ensure quality campaign delivery is performed as per agreed timeline and SLA
- Support Campaign Delivery team on the campaign brief solution and development of tactical response via media schedule
- Undertake the campaign set up process for all Programmatic campaigns within the clients portfolio, troubleshoot any tracking and discrepancy queries, and ensure campaigns are activated with accuracy and following best practices
- Monitor the success of Programmatic campaigns through media analytics, KPIs, and dashboards
- Be accountable for the ongoing management of campaign budgets and daily spend levels, bid strategies and constant monitoring of tracking to performance goals
- Identify performance trends across client accounts and implement appropriate account optimization based on the insights generated
- Analyse ongoing results to identify campaign trends, key insights and provide thoughtful recommendations to ensure we meet and exceed client goals
- Demonstrate innovative ideas which support business growth
- Demonstrate an understanding of strong fundamentals of Brand Safety, Viewability and Ad Fraud
- Share and nurture expertise on various type of Programmatic deal types
- Build a great working relationship with the team and GroupM Agencies, operating seamlessly together to deliver success for our clients, across the briefing, booking, set up, optimization and reporting processes
- Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time
What youll bring:

- Solid understanding of Programmatic Buying, including DSPs/SSPs, RTB, ad-exchanges, DMPs, audience targeting
- Preferably experience in client servicing and managing a team across programmatic/solutions-based capacity
- Good ability to manage people intended as drive people towards joint goals, mentor, coach and motivate them as well as hold them accountable for their results
- Strive for excellence demonstrated by setting high standards for yourself and others, committed to continuous improvement and deliver results despite constraints
- Relationship skills and aware and respectful of diversities
- Strong analytical, creative thinking, problem solving and time management skills
- Detail oriented, responsive to deadlines and able to multitask
- Ongoing interest in digital marketing, industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies
Minimum qualifications:

- 5+ years working experience in Digital Marketing or relevant industry
- At least 2 year in relationship management role
- Knowledge and experience in programmatic planning and buying
- Leadership skills demonstrated by self-confidence, good judgement, sound decision-making, empathic listening, flexibility, self-motivation and ability to challenge the status quo.
- Meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Able to efficiently prioritize and delegate tasks in a fast-changing environment
- Team player demonstrated by the ability to receive and provide feedback professionally, thrive and collaborate in a cross-functional environment
