JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Innovation Delivery Manager to spearhead innovation efforts within EPF.
This role is responsible for leading the Digital Factory program, championing innovation culture, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering collaboration within the organization.
The incumbent will also play a critical role in managing stakeholders, executing communication strategies, and ensuring the seamless delivery of innovation programs.
Additionally, the Innovation Delivery Manager will serve as a subject matter expert in innovation methodologies, with a particular focus on Design Thinking.
This position requires strong leadership capabilities to nurture a high-impact innovation culture while ensuring the alignment of strategic innovation objectives with resource optimization.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive effective implementation and knowledge-sharing across the organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Spearhead the Digital Factory program, orchestrating every phase from inception to prototype with precision, utilizing leading practices of innovation methodologies to ensure successful program delivery.
Champion the innovation culture program, nurturing a high-impact culture within the organization with the goal of embedding a robust innovation mindset across all levels of the organization.
Oversee strategic resource allocation, ensuring seamless alignment with strategic innovation objectives, including optimizing resources to support the innovation pipeline effectively.
Serve as the key SME for innovation methodologies and tools, with a particular focus on Design Thinking.
Devise and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for innovation programs ensuring the successful showcasing of innovation projects.
Champion the Community of Practice for Innovation, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across the organization.
Collaborate on learning synergies and implement capability-building programs to uplift innovation knowledge and skills among staff.
Effectively manage both internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and successful implementation of innovation initiatives.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Strong background in innovation delivery, with expertise in executing structured innovation programs and managing end-to-end processes.
Proficiency in applying Design Thinking to drive human-centered innovation initiatives.
Experience in Working Backwards will be an added advantage.
Strong narrative-building and storytelling skills to effectively communicate innovation initiatives and secure buy-in from stakeholders.
Experience in developing and executing communication strategies to showcase innovation outcomes and increase organizational engagement.
Ecosystem collaboration experience, including engaging external partners, startups, academia, and industry experts to accelerate innovation.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive innovation culture and capability-building efforts across different levels of the organization.
Ability to strategically allocate resources to maximize efficiency and ensure alignment with innovation objectives.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex internal and external relationships effectively.
Experience in fostering a Community of Practice for Innovation, promoting cross-functional knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
Ability to assess emerging technologies and determine feasibility within business constraints, ensuring innovation aligns with enterprise needs.
A results-driven mindset with the ability to translate strategic innovation plans into impactful business outcomes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Malaysian citizen.
Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Innovation Management, Technology Management, Digital Business, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited higher learning institution.
Pass Malay Language, including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent as recognized by the Government.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the innovation space; total working experience of more than 10 years.
