Job Description Business Priorities Global Business Services is of key strategic importance to Kimberly-Clark Corporation (KCC) and operates as a regional model, the hub for APAC is based out of Malaysia. Key strategic priorities for GBS in APAC include – Operational Excellence, Creating Capacity by improving productivity and generating Enterprise Value. Role Accountabilities: The Head of RTR is responsible to lead the end to end record to reporting function which spans General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets Accounting Intercompany Accounting, Financial Reporting and Management Reporting. The incumbent will be expected to ensure the function meets the reporting requirements of management and shareholders, drives change in processes at an end to end basis and brings in new ways of working. The position is expected to act independently with regular interaction with senior stakeholders in the country, GBS Director and Regional Controller. Main Purpose of Role: Lead the team to deliver exceptional and well-controlled services. Lead and drive the execution of GBS initiatives and transformation agenda in partnership with GPOs, business leaders, and key stakeholders. Build sustainable talent pool and expertise in the subject areas while ensuring succession plan is in place within all levels in the team Primary responsibilities: Lead the team in order to meet agreed KPIs and continuously look for ways to improve them. Lead the implementation of new technology within the RTR process and identify ways to maximize benefits. Ensure implementation of policies, enforce compliance and evolve them over time. Lead the Global transformation roadmap for RTR in partnership with Global Process Owner. Lead and coach the team in order to create robust succession plans, supply talent and develop a change-oriented culture. Identify and implement initiatives to create enterprise value Essential Knowledge / Experience: Degree in finance or accounting or related qualification, accounting certification a plus Minimum of 10 years experience in accounting to reporting. Those with experience in a GBS / Share Services set up will be given preference. Minimum of 7 years team leadership experience Experience in interpreting and implementing accounting standards Experience in managing migrations, process improvement projects and system implementations Good command of verbal and written English.
