**Duties and Responsibilities**:- To report duty punctually, wearing hotel uniform with name tag intact, and maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.- Responsible to maintain hotel cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.- To adhere to Housekeeping procedures (SOP) for all tasks specified at any one time.- Prepare the room for cleaning based on assignments given by Housekeeping Supervisor daily, for in-house and departure rooms for the new arrival.- Responsible to clean guest rooms and public areas efficiently and properly, to ensure no complaints from hotel guests.- Responsible for replenishment of guest room amenities according to Housekeeping procedure (SOP).- Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards, extra bed, prayer mat, etc. with a proper recording.- Responsible to collect and deliver guest laundry to the room according to Housekeeping procedure (SOP).- Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests, to report to Assistant Housekeeping Manager for any unusual items or activities found in guest rooms or at common areas.- Perform rotation cleaning weekly duties (e.g. vacuum corridor carpets, room and public area spring cleaning, super cleaning, etc.) as required.- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests. To maintain positive guest relations always.- Be familiar with hotel products and services, to respond to guest inquiries professionally and accurately.- Attends to guest calls, guest requests, or guest complaints in the area assigned to him/her.- Authorize to enter guestrooms for cleaning and providing turn-down services as per requirement.
