Job Summary:
The Incumbent is responsible for providing general assistance to the HR Manager in executing daily human resources activities and administrative tasks
What You Will Do
Coordinate the recruitment processes including advertisements, application processing, short-listing, conducting interviews, selection, and placement to ensure that the company has the right amount of capable manpower to carry out its short and long term objectives. Works with line management in planning and determining the manpower requirements and implementing the right approaches to meet the needs. Responsible for all HR documentations required for new hire, transfer, promotion and all matters related to employees personal files. Assist in new foreign workers recruitment procedures and renewal of work permit as government procedures. Complete the on-boarding process including facilitate orientation and induction programs with all new hires to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives. Works with line management in meeting employee training requirements and identifies training programs and competency development solutions to meet employee needs. Assist to review, revamp and introduce new HR practices & policies to ensure that HR policies are complied and practiced accordingly. Liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development. Handle disciplinary issues, staff counseling and other industrial/employee relations matters in compliance with labor laws. Liaise with government office pertaining employee related issues especially with IR Department, Labour Office and any other related government body. Involve in headcount budgeting exercise, updating the necessary reports and collating budgeting data. Coordinate and compile all HR reports/cost and headcount statistics/updates on an on-going basis and responsible for the timely preparation of quarterly, monthly and adhoc reports. Assist to coordinate employee relations activities including staff welfare and set-up committees on recreation and employee service for the Company to achieve high morals in work environment. Responsible for the Company Events & Activities management and arrangements. Provide support on the other areas when required and to assist in ad-hoc projects where necessary.
Special Duties:
Supervise the safe custody, retrieval and updating of company personnel files and records. Assist the HR Manager in daily activities from time to time that concerns with the improvement or new implementations to company rules and regulations. Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by immediate superior as deemed appropriate. Undertake any other additional tasks, duties and responsibilities as deem necessary by the Management from time to time.
What You Will Bring
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline Degree in Human Resource, Business management or equivalent business experience. Attention to detail with ability to deliver quality output whilst working under pressure and to tight timelines. Proficient in English language, both written and verbal. Strong business partnering, influencing & stakeholder management skills are essential in order to support the regional requirements, suppliers and remote team partners. Computer literacy, analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail and data are required.
