HR Manager, Klang

- Provides HR Supportto businesses in Klang, Malaysia
The role
Leading the HR function and provide a full scope of Human Resources activities, including but not limited to recruitment, staff development, training, industrial relations, compensation & benefits.
As a HR Manager, you will:
- Lead on all day-to-day HR operational activities to ensure they are delivered in an operationally effective and efficient way. Working in close partnership with the various function stake holders
- Supporting Country HR Manager in ensuring compliance with all regulatory (employment Law, immigration etc.) and internal governance requirements including tracking regulatory changes, driving internal policy / process changes, and achieving satisfactory internal/external audit outcomes.
- To handle and advice busines leaders and operations teams on management of disciplinary issues, staff counselling, grievance handling and other employee relation matters in compliance with Malaysian Labour Law.
- Monitor and administer the execution of staff movement to be updated on timely manner i.e., expiry of contract, confirmation, transfer, resignation, probation confirmation to ensure the execution and documentations are in accordance with policies and procedures
- To engage with relevant government bodies on regulation updates from time to time
- Rollout and maintains support for Group initiatives e.g. Toll EAP, Toll Disclosure Hotline, Pre-appointment screening, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR Operations and HR projects roles
- Experience with advanced HRIS systems (e.g. Workday)
- Must be willing and able to occasionally travel to customer sites domestically (10-15%)
- In-depth knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, HR concepts and expertise
- Knowledge and expertise related to HR policies, processes, and practices
