Our client is a US based MNC in Petaling Jaya with a global revenue of more than USD 2.8 billion.
About the role
Ensure all Intercompany close activities are completed timely and in accordance with corporate timeline, guidelines and policies.
Your responsibilities
- Preparation and posting of inter-company Debit Notes.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to inter-company vendors via the netting cycle and in accordance with the global netting calendar.
- Monitor daily intercompany IDOC processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IDOC failure (if any) and perform manual adjustment if necessary.
- Perform monthly Intercompany reconciliation and confirmation.
- Investigate, work closely with country controllers to resolve the imbalances / disputed item related to un-reconciled items.
- Perform month-end task related to intercompany.
- Able to handle Corporate team queries, investigate and provide resolution during month end closing.
- Able to handle audit queries related to Intercompany transactions.
- Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation in accordance with Finance Manual Policy and carry out investigation if any discrepancies noted.
- Consistently achieve and sustain KPI for Intercompany.
- Involvement in SOX Audit compliance & other internal/ external audit requirements.
- Support financial controller in GAAP & local statutory reporting fillings pertaining intercompany.
You will have
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Possesses strong analytical, problem solving and inter-personal skills.
- Possesses excellent attention to detail, self-starter, quick learner, independent and team player.
- With ability to drive initiatives and change.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in SAP.
- Malaysian only (Open to all Ethnicity & Gender).
