Job Description
Role
To drive enablers to make the sales force as productive, efficient and effective as possible, in order to achieve company objectives and goals.
Orchestrate, achieve and secure new customer revenue consistently for district office and Expeditors network.
To collaborate closely with District Sales Manager.
Responsibilities and Job Scope
Provide rates and pricing support.
Timely update in CRM (Customer Relationship Management system), and ensure data integrity measurements are met for the branch.
Prospecting new customers, perform cold calls, schedule meetings with customers to secure and close business.
Manage an assigned territory and Demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area.
Assist in creating and maintaining Customer’s SOPs and ensure full ownership of tactical responsibilities by operation and customer service teams.
To initiate and support the Transition and Implementation process for new customers and ensure proper hand-overs. Which include supporting AR (accounts receivable) collection.
Deliver and co-ordinate bid response information requested by the local sales team or Expeditors network.
Local market outreach.
Manage weekly/monthly reports/meetings on delivery of: Sales team results, KPIs, sales meetings, company visitors and their schedules to the District Sales Manager.
Deliver qualified sales leads to the sales team.
Utilize corporate approved templates and Create customer-focused Power-point presentations from various marketing material; work with Global Marketing and Communications team at CHQ for customized content when needed.
Leverage and implement Expeditors reporting tools and value add solutions internally and externally with all selected customers.
Organize customer / sales focused events to drive existing and new customer engagement.
Ensure updated marketing materials are accessible to sales team.
Manage pre-sale engagement for sales team.
Take on additional assignment, as required, in support of company needs.

Qualifications
Qualifications, Knowledge and Desired Skill-Sets
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Logistics/Transportation, Maritime studies or equivalent.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
MS Office operating knowledge
Ability to perform and meet KPI requirements
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Mandatory for candidate to possess proficiency in both oral and written of the English language
Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
Sense of urgency for goal achievement
Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment
