Job Description

Job Purpose

Manage and develop the defined National, Key accounts within group portfolio, and animate the relative Strategic and Global Key Accounts for the hotels within the region.

Set and agree on sales objectives both on a qualitative and quantitative basis on an annual basis and to be reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales team within his/her scope.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible in maximizing all revenue opportunities .

Development and Implementation of Strategic Sales & Marketing Strategies – Through critical thinking, ensure strategies are consistent with the dynamic needs and goals of the property both short and long-term. Forward thinking strategy development and execution to drive profitable business results. Ultimately a creative thought leader who can influence and capture business through enhanced proposals, special events and site inspections. Manage and align advertising opportunities and spend.

Relationships – Establish excellent working relationships with all internal stakeholders responsible for driving revenue for the hotels.

Financial Acumen – Reporting, Analytics, Pricing, Market Intelligence while maximizing profitability, forecasting and revenue management strategies.

Customer Interactions – Relationship building, negotiations and site inspections. Ensure that all sales related activities support our customer satisfaction and retention goals. Business travel as needed to industry trade shows and events.

Administrative – Computer savvy specifically as it relates to Excel, PowerPoint, performance management (leads, conversion and goal achievement) to gauge effectiveness of deployed resources, approval of sales contracts, etc.

Industry / Civic Relations – Active involvement with Convention and Visitors Bureau and Convention Center resources, as well as applicable tourism and government entities.

Participate in the preparation of the Strategic Business and Operating Plans.

Develop relationships with key business customers and foster new business opportunities

Direct and Animate the Key Account assigned. The performance is assessed on his/her effectiveness as to give strategic leadership approach to the accounts, business result and the management skills developed and effectively applied.

He/she will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous and efficient manner in accordance with Accor policies and procedures, ensuring a high level of result is maintained.

Work Experience

Strong account management, utilize all Accor sales and distribution tools.

Excel in customer interaction to ensure all sales related activities support customer satisfaction and retention goals.

Be revenue focused & be able to implement strategies to support hotels.

Strong leadership as he/she has to liaise with hotel DOS/GM and Director.

Strategic Sales Experience.

Good Account Management capability.

Team working skills and able to work effectively and contribute in a team.

Ability to work independently and has a good initiative under dynamic environment.

Self-motivated and energetic.
