Korea Translator (Full Time)

Translate native Korea language to English and vice versa.
MUST from mother land and currently staying in Malaysia.
Willing to work in Johor Bahru.
Responsibilities:
• Perform translation, editing and review content
• Define voice, tone, terminology, quality standards and improvements for product and marketing content
• Create and maintain style guide and terminology resources for the locale
• Write local content for the local websites per requirements
• Assist with QA of the local translated web sites
• Proactively work on quality improvement initiatives and provide continuous evaluation and feedback during production cycle
• Perform proof reading and escalate problems found to improve target language quality
• Attend onsite meetings with clients on a need basis to receive product training and other knowledge and feedback to transfer to the translation pools
Requirements:
• Diploma or University Degree, preferably Translation & Interpreting, Linguistics or related degree
• At least 1 year’ experience in localization work in a global environment
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive and quality oriented
