JOB SUMMARY: Ingredion is hiring a Manager in Global Shared Services to lead Human Resources service delivery in its and Kuala Lumpur site location. The HR Manager, HR Shared Services Lead is responsible for providing support to Ingredion managers, and employees and retirees regarding HR policies and practices, researching and/or investigating concerns and making recommendations that promote positive employee relations. Main area of responsibility is to serve as a resource to management and employees in solving day-to-day workplace matters. This includes conducting workplace investigations and recommending effective solutions and corrective actions in accordance with policy and applicable laws. The HR Shared Services Leader role is a leadership position responsible for managing all aspects of the HR Shared Services (HRSS) organization, for the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions, as well as supporting the Global Head of Shared Services and the site leader in Kuala Lumpur. You will have excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work with various colleagues within the Americas and across the regions and in global HR to understand business requirements and find opportunities to use technology, from a continuous improvement perspective, to enhance productivity and efficiency on a global scale. SUPERVISION: Provides daily management, oversight and guidance to Human Resources staff of ~15 -30 employees REPORTS TO: Head of Global Shared Services with additional reporting accountability to the Head of HR Operations and to the site leader of Kuala Lumpur. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: As the Lead, HR Shared Services (HRSS), responsibilities include but are not limited to: Advance initiatives to enhance and streamline HRSS organizational activities. Re-think how we provide services using technology, innovation and global resources. Continuously improve and innovate to reduce/eliminate very manual and/or duplicative processes. Contribute to the creation of the Global HRSS strategy and drive initiatives in line with the strategy. Develop annual budget and LE revisions in coordination with the Site Lead and to track and deliver results against same. Develop customer satisfaction surveys and respondents, as well as create action plans to address feedback received in order to improve service delivery. Develop HRSS Service Level Agreements working with Global Shared Service Sr Director, Site Leader and key stakeholders in HR Seek opportunities to identify/use vendors globally to support HRSS business processes. Support contract and vendor management (in partnership with Procurement & Vendor Management) for the vendors utilized. Partner with HR Communications and IT to create a global HR Intranet strategy. Develop/track metrics of APAC/EMEA HRSS organization and help create global HRSS metrics. Develop transition strategies and knowledge transfer/training where required to support the movement of activities and process into the Global HRSS organization. Assist in business case development for critical initiatives and monitoring progress of projects. Collaborate with the ""sending"" organization to assess impact to full time employees as required in both the sending and HRSS. Ensure processes and controls are in place to secure a successful transition to the global model, and to ensure the HRSS organization can provide excellent service. Partner with the COEs to manage the work in-take & project prioritization process for the Americas region.+ Identify ways to measure the workload and establish service level agreements (SLAs). Ensure the team is aligned to and responds to the strategic objectives of both HR and the business and that SLAs are communicated in a timely manner. Support the communication strategy to brand the Global HRSS organization, and work with the communication team to develop communications plans where required. Build and maintain a quality monitoring process designed to improve customer satisfaction and assure attainment of required process and compliance objectives. Collaborate with different COEs, and HRBPs teams to monitor overall performance of the team. Analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology; oversee the specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures to ensure efficient business processes using Workday and ServiceNow. Ensure quality, timeliness and proper use of HR information retrieved from systems and ensuring security of HR information through established security protocols, and participation in issue tracking and resolution for all HR systems including our document management system. The HR Shared Services Lead position is well-suited for you if you: Strong customer service and employee experience orientation Project Management skills Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure Strong Business & Strategic Acumen; ability to understand Ingredion’s blueprint, business processes and the Company’s key strategies. Ability to complete Performance Reporting & Analysis Strong risk & compliance background; recognizes importance of sound internal control and maintaining high standards of ethical conduct. Have a ""can do"" attitude, looking for creative solutions to problems. Are willing to work extended hours and possibly on weekends depending on the needs of the business in order to meet critical timelines and function in a global environment. Communicate effectively and professionally Have attention to detail and have a strong drive for results Have a track record of collaboration with others and building partnerships Qualified candidates will have: Bi-lingual fluency is required in English and Malay Tri-lingual fluency is preferred in English, Malay and Mandarin Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team Demonstrated ability to organize, schedule and successfully manage multiple priorities. Minimum ten years of multi-disciplinary HR experience is preferred with at least five years of supervisory experience Prefer prior experience in shared services environment Strong HRIS and data analytics background Knowledgeable and proficient in all Microsoft office tools.
