Maintenance Manager

Job Description Primary Responsibilities Lead Engineers and Technicians in troubleshooting the breakdown of machine and equipment, and ensure repairing work is performed timely and professionally.
Maintain a systematic tracking, analyze operating performance of the machine and equipment, and carry out continuous improvement activities.
Monitor operating condition of the machine and equipment and conduct effective preventive maintenance to achieve smooth and efficient operation.
Minimize maintenance cost, perform effective procurement and inventory management for spare parts.
Develop methods, operating and safety procedures for the repair and maintenance works applicable to machine and equipment.
Enforce all safety procedures and policies and ensure technical specification and work done are in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Provide regular progress update on the assigned projects to the management and ensure the completion of projects are as per schedule and budget.
Conduct technical training to upgrade Engineers and Technicians whenever necessary.
Basic Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 years' working experience in managing Maintenance/Repair (Facility & Machinery) in manufacturing environment.
Hands-on technical experience in Maintenance/Repair of Plastic Injection Molding Machineries is essential.
Expertise in Total Productive Maintenance is an added advantage.
Strong leadership, systematic and analytical problem-solving skills.
Candidates without managerial experience can be considered for the position as Senior Engineer/Engineer.
