Manager, Actuarial Solvency, Reporting & Reserving

Job Description JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the team on actuarial matters relating to financial and regulatory reporting, stress testing, and capital modelling pursuant to business and BNM?s requirements
Manage the team on actuarial investigation and regulatory reporting as required by relevant BNM guidelines
Manage the team on capital modelling and capital adequacy related matters, and analyze claims data to gauge impact on business
Work closely in special studies / ad-hoc request from the business units and present findings to relevant stakeholders
Ensure output of actuarial investigation is accurate and delivered in a timely manner, and that the activities undertaken by the team adhere to the SOP and comply with regulatory requirements
Ensure risks associated with info assets within ones? control are adequately assessed, reported & mitigated to maintain confidentiality, integrity & availability
Plan and enhance knowledge of the team through relevant actuarial seminar and workshops
Learn and support other functional areas within the department to assist at the time of need
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors? degree or equivalent, in Actuarial Science / Statistics / Mathematics, or other related discipline
A member of a recognized actuarial institute
Minimum 5 years' actuarial experience in insurance or related industry
