The position is responsible for analyzing data and producing data insights to support business needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop, manage and maintain data marts to support marketing and analytics activities for company:
Design and develop data marts based on business requirements.
Handle data management cycle from data collection/download, data processing/preparation, data exploration, data extraction, data validation/discovery, data quality, data analysis to data retention and data refresh.
Analyse requirement, data extraction, develop script & support enquiry on customer engagement and campaign management initiatives.
Segment available databases using customer, survey, product, marketing and any available external information.
Liaise with related stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure all projects’ deliverables are implemented within the targeted timeline and meeting the expected business requirement.
Develop and document a consistent data management process including the publication and documentation of information relating to business specifications, data requirements, data validation checklists, tracking methodology, change management control and procedures for updating.
Diagnose/troubleshoot data issues with recommendations for resolution to ensure quality work, without compromising on the delivery timeline. 8. Optimize jobs/processes to enhance and increase overall performance in various data marts.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Preferably University graduate
5+ years’ experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
Familiarity with Oracle environments or other related RDBMS
Good SQL knowledge with hands-on experience in Web Scraping is added advantage
Experience in Data Warehouse / Data Lake / Unstructured Data / Big Data Analytic are added advantage
Experience in create data marts to support CRM or Personalisation Engine are added advantage
Have basic knowledge on Big Data Solutions
Strong Analytical skills
Excellent communications skills both oral and written
A good team player
Able and willing to work independently with minimal supervision
