We are looking for a user-experience (UI & UX) designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. The designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing. The designer will also be responsible to the final design creations. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction. Plan, prioritize, coordinate and conduct user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modelling, information architecture design, interaction design, and usability testing. Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc. Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with business analyst, developers, copywriters and Product Owners. Refine personas and product storyboard, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and interaction design specifications. Conduct contextual enquiries, Design Thinking, Focus Groups, Workshops and stakeholder interviews. Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually. Manage the design process, drive decisions, track issues, and assist in estimating resource needs and schedules. Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented. Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, project management, business and brand strategists, and hardware and software developers. Constant monitoring of existing applications for improvement within limitation. Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry's standards. Qualifications
5 years of commercial design experience Experienced in implementing seamless user experiences across a variety of devices and platforms. Experience working in an agile/scrum development process. Experienced in Finance Industry is desired
Competencies/Skills
(Essential to succeed in this job) Passionate of UX, supplemented with some IXD, UI design, usability or visual design. Ability to negotiate required UX with vendors, management, and product managers. Possess the ability to shape a concept and own it all the way through from design to implementation. Solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces and navigation for all digital mediums. Experienced in designing for multiple platforms – Web/mobile/Apps High proficiency in wire-framing and prototyping software - Adobe XD, Sketch, Principle, Invision. A complete knowledge of all the classic graphic software – Photoshop, Illustrator etc Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during interview. Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript. Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
