Job Description
OVERALL:

Responsible for the operations of the production plant from dipping to packing and compounding.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Coordinate with Planning Manager on production schedule and planning.
Monitor overall quality and output of production, QCP and OQC and ensuring customer requirements are met.
To schedule production line cleaning and preventive maintenance.
Ensuring all production processes are in accordance to ISO 9001/13485/GMP requirements.
To review and analyse reports from CPD, production, QCP and OQC.
To constantly look into improving productivity and reducing rejects, waste and downtime.
To review and update the quality system procedures and work instructions for the department.
Prepare department budget for submission to Account Department.
Ensure the department KPI and targets are achieved. To investigate and discuss with the team if not achieved.
To report to Operation Manager on production matters.
To plan and approve duty roster for the department.
To conduct performance appraisal of subordinates.
Ensure subordinates are well trained to carry out their functions effectively.
Ensure sufficient resources (manpower) for the department to operate effectively and efficiently.
To prepare and submit a monthly production report to Operation Manager.
Ensure compliance of work safety practice
Enforcing company rules and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent human relation skills
Strong analytical mind
Strong managerial skill
Able to manage people effectively
Able to write business report and letters
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Physically fit
Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or equivalent.
At least 5-8 years? experience in similar capacity preferably in glove industry or manufacturing.
