SUMMARY OF THE ROLEThe Maintenance Manager is responsible to lead and manage Maintenance by enhancing its developments based on Jotun's values and in accordance with local, regional, and corporate objectives and guidelines to ensure the right equipment reliability and maintain HSEQ standards while optimizing maintenance cost.This position will be reporting to the Operations Manager and based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.**Responsibilities**:- Lead the Maintenance team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet Jotun's current and future needs.- Ensure that all Maintenance roles and requirements are fulfilled- Lead the Maintenance function by implementing and monitoring procedures and guidelines to ensure maintenance activities comply with local laws and regulations, ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO 45001, Jotun Operations System, and Jotun's HSEQ Management system.- In cooperation with HSEQ and relevant stakeholders, ensure that at any time, the HSE critical installations are working as intended, but not limited to: Fire Fighting, ventilation, overflow levels, safety valves, earthing installation, emergency equipment, etc.- Responsible for HSEQ within the area of responsibility- Initiate, drive, and follow up continuous improvement activities by utilizing the Jotun Operations System- Participate in operations management meetings to coordinate activities and improvement projects.- To uphold an optimal production environment, ensure professional, proactive maintenance systems by implementing and sustaining the Belt program and JOS assessment level.- Manage, monitor, and update the maintenance system, plans, spare parts, personnel, and costs.- Review the operation of plant assets, including criticality and systems, constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, solve problems on time, and identify improvement opportunities.- Negotiate, follow up, and review service contracts and frame agreements for external companies.- Be involved during equipment selection and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER**Qualifications**:- Minimum Bachelor's degree with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience- Proficient with Microsoft Office- Excellent English skills both spoken and written.Personal Qualities- Acts on own initiative, makes things happen and accepts responsibility for the results- Co-operates well with others; shares knowledge, experience, and information; supports others in the pursuit of team goals.- Demonstrates specialist knowledge and expertise in own area; participates in continuous professional development- Develops people through delegation, empowerment and coaching; promotes career and self-development- Provides team with a clear sense of direction, inspires and coordinates others and keeps them focused on objectives.- Uses a methodical and systematic approach; plans ahead, defines clear priorities and allocates resources effectivelyWe Offer- We are a fast-growing paint company with proven financial success.- Career development encompassing on-the-job experiences and Jotun Academy, our in-house development academy.- Best-in-class paint product that are unparalleled in quality.- We are a values-driven organization where Respect, Loyalty, Care and Boldness are core to the culture and success of our organization.POSITION INFORMATIONCompany:Jotun Paints (Malaysia) Sdn.
