Job Description The incumbent is expected to play a pivotal role in the success of the Company?s talent management strategies by implementing and managing programmes to optimise the human resources of the Company to support the drive towards the achievement of the Vision and Mission statement.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Top Management in developing and mapping out Companywide talent management/succession planning strategies and/or action plans to meet the needs of the Company.
Responsible for implementation of strategies approved by the Senior Management and work closely with respective Heads of Department on talents identified for development. Monitor and keep track of progress of talents, provide regular feedback to Management and where necessary recommend adjustments or modifications.
Responsible for the administration of in house training, in particular approved Technical Training designed for the Technical staff. Upkeep and proper maintenance of Technical Training Materials ensuring all new Technical employees complete the Technical Trainings.
Requirements
Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
Minimum 6 years? experience in HR with 3 years? experience in working with Senior Management in talent development/ management, succession planning, retention management or similar roles
Qualified retired persons are welcomed to apply
Computer literate in MS Office. Experience with specialised HR IT programmes (excluding payroll) is highly valued
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin will be an added advantage
Good communication and presentation skills, able to interact with all levels of organisation, strong interpersonal skills especially persuasion
Strong knowledge of Talent Development/Succession planning tools and concept, and working knowledge of laws and regulations related to human resources
