Mandarin Teacher

Requirements:Requirements: - Have B.Ed in a field of tertiary education or in the Linguistics & Literature (Mandarin) or equivalent.
- Have a strong commitment to and passion for education.
- Have a broad and thorough knowledge of the teaching subject.
- Preferably at least 2-4 years of teaching experience in Mandarin.
- Be self-motivated, responsible, caring and innovative.
- A good command of English
- A t least a Band 4 in MUET examinations
Required Skills and expertise:
Curriculum knowledge of PYP/MYP would be an added advantage.
Have a proven track record of improvement
Be able to creatively contribute to the development of the students and the curriculum

Responsibilities:Responsibilities:
- Teaching Mandarin to a range of classes of different levels and language proficiency.
- Monitoring and evaluating the progress and development of the students under one's charge and giving useful and timely feedback to students and parents.
- Preparing and assessing student learning to facilitate positive and effective development.
- Working with others in supporting the department in curriculum development/review and other departmental needs.
- Maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge and preparing relevant teaching resources.
- Participate actively in Programme meeting and subject-based meetings.
- Perform student management duties as required.
