Description

: Job Title: Marketing Manager (6-months contract)

The Purpose of Role:

Using breakthrough thinking and category, consumer, brand
and customer understanding to create a clear and ambitious growth vision and
strategy for the assigned portfolio/category. This is a role of high strategic
importance for the team and will require a high degree of leadership as well as
team management across Malaysia as well as cross functional team.

Team Structure:

Director Direct reports: Sr. Brand
Manager & Brand Manager Indirect reports: NA

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the Develop the Brand
Marketing Plan including the full 6 P's. Building Market Leading
Marketing Plans and leading the Brand Managers to deliver against the key
growth plan, building long term brand equity. Drive Home Care Digital
Marketing to be No.1 best in class in Malaysia. Responsible for crafting media
plans with relevant media manager/agency and Implement integrated above
and below the line brand plans. Jointly building brand
strategies and vision to unlock the Malaysia category growth driver and
category vision, Identify innovation
ideas/opportunities and feedback. Leading the set up and
execution of the quarterly Brand Activities and Activation. Delivering Brand and Category
portfolio growth targets. Highly articulate and able to
influence internal and external stakeholders (in person and in
presentations). Ability to lead a complex, and large team driving a close
"team grip" across the full cross functional network. Constantly review brand and
initiative performance for ongoing improvement. Leading Talent and Building
Teams - Ability to lead a team consisting of multiple Brand Managers.

Key Relationship:

RandD (Regional, local), Supply chain (Regional, local),
Marketing (Regional, local), Finance, CD, Legal, IT, RE, External suppliers,
Regulatory authorities, all key stakeholders (WL1 – WL3)

Travel:

No travel.

Essential Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

Bachelor’s Degree
in any discipline. Minimum 8 years marketing
experience in FMCG. Proven experience of developing
and implementing effective and integrated brand plans.

Desirable Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

You are an optimistic and
resilient team player. Confident to voice opinions leading with consumer
insight, and debate and stress test the plans to ensure success. You are highly articulate and
strong influence internal and external stakeholders. Ability to lead a
complex, and large team driving a close "team grip" across the
full cross functional network. You are always obsessive in
consumer Intimacy and completely immersed in the world of the consumer,
intimately understanding consumers current needs and curious about future
needs. You are the expert in marketing
strategy development with insights and competitor analysis to anticipate
market growth opportunities and determine the markets, channels and
segments to operate in. You are excellent in
communication channel management with an integrated program of brand
communication in the most cost-effective way. You will be working with
Customer Management to develop channel and customer specific marketing
plans and activities. You are equipped with media
savvy particularly in digital marketing and know-how. You are experienced in proven
project and budget management.

Contract Duration:

6 months, starting in April 2020.
