Straits Education International Group is a relatively new comer to the Education sector in Malaysia. We opened our first school in Penang in 2011 and another in Rawang (KL) in 2018. As a school, we pride ourselves on the level of care we give to our students. The motto, ‘Not for me, Not for you, But for us,’ really captures what we are trying to do; we aim to combine academic rigour with a key sense of kindness, personal responsibility and determination to overcome challenges. Our schools have a wide range of resources and support to enhance our students’ success.
We are now recruiting for the following position for a September 2021 start date:
Mathematics and Accounting. Experience teaching KS3 – KS4 is essential, experience with KS5 is strongly recommended.
A high level of English is also a must.

The right candidate will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions (including a minimum of 3 years teaching experience, a must to meet the Malaysian immigration visa requirements).

In joining our fast-paced international environment, you will lead the delivery of the National Curriculum, IGCSE and finally the A level programmes (CIE accredited). You will challenge your students to set ambitious targets for themselves and seek out and implement innovative teaching practices to enhance the student experience and outcomes.

The closing date for application is January 5th, 2021 but we reserve the right to appoint early for the right candidate. First-round interviews will take place via Skype with the Head of Secondary while the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Head of Secondary and the Principal.
