Mechanical Engineer

Job Description MECHANICAL ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES: Shall possess leadership traits, with strong knowledge and background in mechanical engineering design and engineering consultancy whom able to:
a) Execute project planning, site investigation, preliminary design and cost estimation on mechanical works as below:
i) Air Conditioning, Refrigerating & Mechanical Ventilation System
ii) Fire Fighting & Prevention System
iii) Cold / Hot Water & Water Reticulation System
iv) Sanitary and Waste Disposal Systems
v) Lifts, Escalators, Hoists and Dumbwaiters
vi) Waste and water treatment system
b) Perform mechanical building services detail design and engineering calculation required for the assigned project.
c) Prepare complete tender documents, attend tender evaluation and administer contract documents throughout project life-cycle.
d) Consultant / client / supplier coordination meeting and on-site troubleshooting.
e) Attend site meeting, inspection and perform site progress evaluation for M&E Works.
f) Project management and coordination as Project Management Consultant
g) Work experience in Oil and Gas Industry is an added value
h) Well versed with local codes, international codes, standards and guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
? At least 10 years above of working experience with consultant engineering company.
? Willing to travel and possess own transport.
? Knowledge of Spreadsheet software, Word processing software, AutoCAD, REVIT, Microsfot Office and Microsoft Project.
? Minimum registration as Graduate Engineer with BEM
? Good communication and writing skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
? Knowledge of BIM is and added advantage
? Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
