Officer, Logistics

Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and warehousing
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products
Monitor and track shipments to ensure they arrive on schedule and in good condition
Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock, ensuring compliance with company policies
Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure alignment on logistics needs and requirements
Maintain relationships with logistics service providers and negotiate contracts and pricing
Prepare reports on logistics performance and present recommendations to management
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
