What you'll be doing Conducting comprehensive eye examinations to assess patients' visual acuity, refractive errors, and overall eye health Prescribing and dispensing corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses, to improve patients' vision Educating patients on proper eye care, hygiene, and preventive measures to maintain their visual health Collaborating with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards Participating in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Optometry or a related field Registered and licensed as an Optometrist with the relevant authorities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to accurately diagnose and treat various eye conditions Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism Proactive and enthusiastic approach to continuous learning and professional development
