We are looking for DBA (Oracle) specialised in the administration of Oracle Database for one of the manufacturing company based from USA.

about the job

Work closely with business, technical and vendor to take care and maintain database solutions, including IT systems, applications, processes and infrastructure.
Provide input to creation of rolling maintenance plan of 6-12 months of activity in advance.
Establish and maintain a 24*7 global support model for all envrionments (Oracle EBS and Core databases).
Establish and calculate optimum values for database parameters
Work with Oracle Support to facilitate analysis of and resolution of technical issues.

skill/experience

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent in related field or equivalent experience.
Certifications in Oracle Database Administration are desirable.
3-5 years of IT experience is a must in supporting Oracle database technologies: Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Oracle Exadata, Oracle Enterprise Manager, OBIEE, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle APEX, Multi-Tenant and clustering solutions on Linux systems is desirable.
Experience with installation, upgrade, patching, cloning and migration of Oracle databases is desirable.
Experience with reading and writing script (e.g., shell scripting, PL/SQL, Python or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience with resolving database and applications performance tuning is a plus.
Knowledge/experience in supporting Oracle E-Business Suite is a plus.
Experience in developing documentation and presentations suitable for peers and immediate management.
Understand and able execute the IT processes of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management.
