Maintain under operational conditions the current HPUX / RHEL platforms and the new RHEL platforms in respect to the Support processes Build, deploy and administer/manage the current and future RHEL platforms. Operational support on: - Troubleshooting, incidents and problem management, Reporting and communication. Assist new implementations of all System Infrastructure components such as Physical and virtual servers, Middleware components (backup, scheduling, monitoring, etc.) Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency and life cycle over the Linux operating system Automating OS install and update, Configuring network Managing RPM packets Performance analysis (on a physical server or virtual server platform) Tuning system & kernel, Managing users and security
About you
5-8 years of experience in Infrastructure, with 3-5 years specifically on Linux operating systems, Familiarity with: OS Server: Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012 – Linux RedHat Enterprise 6 to 7 and OS Client: Windows XP to Windows 10 Previous experience on Network Cisco and HP-UX operating systems (HP-UX 11i, HP-UX 11.23 Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department, Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. English speaking mandatory, (French reading would be appreciated) Flexible on shifting/on calls Ability to analyse and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints
