Why does this job exist and why is it critical??
The Senior System Analyst will be primarily responsible in the following areas:
1) System analyst to implement OSS applications Change Request primarily NetCracker solution. The personal will be responsible of End to EndChange Request management covering Interface with end-users for Requirement Gatherings Perform analysis, designing and programming to meet business requirements. Produce detailed design specifications ready for development Work closely with development team to build the system Implement the system in production Ensure deadline and budget requirements are met Stake-holder management Stay up-to-date with current computing, networking, telecommunication technologies and technical developments
2) OSS Applications SME (primarily Service Fulfilment - NetCracker)
3) Project manage new OSS related cross-functional projects
Other Responsibilities End to End management of User Change Request (UCR) which include analysing the UCR and designing the solution. OSS applications UCR commitment is 95% OTIF Project Manage Type A projects and Implement OSS solutions for Network/Business users to support new services rollout & Maxis Business needs based on defined & agreed scope, time and cost. This includes meeting the forecasted & planned OSS AOP Capex for the projects. Manage OSS Vendors including the vendor performance, deliverables and contracts.to ensure the all the project deliverables are according the agreed scope and cost OSS Applications Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide OSS domains expertise to the end users in meeting their requirements. Responsible of ensuring all the new OSS solution implemented adhere to the defined OSS architecture and conform to NGOSS/ETOM framework
What do you need to have for this role? Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science / Management Information Systems or relevant degree
Total Relevant Experience: Minimum 12 years in IT or Telecommunication. At least 10 years' experience as a system analyst Soft skills – Communication skills, Presentation skills, interpersonal etc. Excellent analytical skills Have Agile working methods Exposed to Cloud and familiar to cloud native products Ability to explain technical details in simple terms Familiar with BSS and OSS concepts, tools and systems Familiar with enterprise products and serivces Familiar with Service fulfilment and Telco grade Inventory systems Good knowledge on OSS applications especially Service Fulfilment - NetCracker platform Hands on experience with software development and documentation Programming Languages (as relevant) – Java & J2EE technologies (3years), UNIX Scripting (perl), Python scripting, R-Language, Web Programmingetc. Familiarity with following technologies/concepts: Java Basics, Collection Framework, Java IO, JDBC, JNDI, XML (DOM), XML (SAX), Reflection, HTTP Protocol basics, Servlets, JSP, EJB 2.x, 3.x, Logging Patterns, Code Patterns, Regexp Project Management skills Familiarity with Hadoop/AI / Machine Learning Telco Systems, Concepts & Environment, Technologies & Standards
