Oss System Development & Support Specialist

Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

?The personnel will be primarily responsible in Application/Software development & administration of OSS applications
What are you accountable for?
Application & Software development – Develop, Test And Implement OSS applications Change Request based on user requirements
Administrate & Support OSS applications to resolve application issues and upkeep the system availability
System Manager Engineer - End to end management of the OSS applications & server by managing system upgrade, system future expansion etc.
Resolve OSS application support cases within the resolution SLAs to minimize business disruption.
OSS Applications Subject Matter Experts (SME) for especially Cloud Platform, Business Intelligent/Analytics, Data Engineering, ETL and Service Assurance domain
Data warehouse design, build & deploy in Cloud platforms

Project manage & deliver medium/small size OSS related projects with the agreed timeline, scope & cost
What do you need to have for this role?
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science / Management Information Systems or equivalent
Soft skills – Communication skills, Presentation skills etc.
Good knowledge/experience on OSS applications especially Business Intelligent , ETL and Service Assurance platforms
Experience with Cloud Platforms or Cloud Data Management technologies.
Experience with data warehouse design, build, deploy along with ETL
Programming Languages (as relevant) - Java, UNIX Scripting (perl), Python scripting, R-Language, Web Programming etc.
Agile development experience.
Telco Systems, Technologies & Standards.
Basic Project Management skills
At least 5 to 8 years working experience in IT and Telecommunication fields
At least 4 years’ experience in implementing or administrating OSS applications
