To lead the Public Relations and Partnership function and support the Head of Brand Marketing SEA across all functions of the JD business related to the JD brand, Third Party Brands and Community Projects.
This role focuses on growing branding opportunities within the marketplace to drive further exposure and positioning of the JD brand.

SUMMARY
This multi-faceted role has key responsibilities across the below functions:
Public Relations : Crafting and executing results-oriented PR initiatives focusing on KOL engagement, media relations and talent curation.
Working cross functionally between Buying, Multi-Channel, Retail and key central teams to align product, brand and organization priorities, in collaboration with Third Party Brand and Retail Marketing team.
KOL/Talent Management : Responsible for amplifying all JD brand awareness leveraging KOL/talent engagement.
This area includes Third-Party Brand campaign achieving key objectives in collaboration with the Third Party Brand team.
The purpose here being to increase JD owned brand awareness and exposure across Malaysia, Singapore with an overview of Thailand and Franchise markets.
Partnership:Community project management will involve ownership of existing programs, procurement of new initiatives.
There will also be crossover responsibilities with Retail Marketing on elements of sponsorship agreements and hyper-local activity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and execute PR campaigns to promote initiatives, events and brand messages.
Collaborate with other functions within marketing, social media and creative teams to align messaging.
Develop and implement crisis communication strategies, when necessary, with support from agency.
Swift pivot to address issues that may impact brand equity and reputation.
End to end KOL/Talent engagement with agency and central team and managing execution excellence across Malaysia, Singapore and oversee execution in Thailand and Franchise markets.
End to end campaign management of JD Brand and Partnership projects with external creative agency.
Support the execution of store openings, brand events, Third Party Brand from visual communication and talent perspective.
Support all reporting functions within the Marketing Department, to feedback across relevant SEA markets.
Identify potential external opportunities that align with brand DNA.
KPIs
Increase brand visibility through community building and media across Malaysia and Singapore as priority markets.
Build and manage PR Strategy addressing business and brand objectives for Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand with overview of Franchise markets.
Increase partnership projects throughout Malaysia, Singapore Thailand, specific to each market.
Ensure KOL/talent curation for JD Brand and Third-Party Brand projects meet business objectives with measurable goals.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Ability to liaise and build rapport with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to reach out and build rapport with external parties i.e., KOL, Talents and potential partners.

EXPERIENCE
3-5 years in a similar position or within a retail business.
Exposure to 360 PR Strategy that covers omni-channel retail business.
Regional work scope experience is an advantage but not essential.
