Position: Payroll, T&A, Compensation, Benefits Senior Specialist, Japan
The purpose of this role is to manage:
E2E Payroll Management for SBS in China, asia, Japan and Pacific, as per their respective Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Coordinate the C & B administration of national or international transfers including immigration and relocation
Coordinate and administer C & B that related with termination and offboarding activities
Ensure that changes are correctly reflected in all related systems
Manage all documents related to Payroll, time, Attendance, Benefits (preparation, collection, validation, archiving)
Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner
Monitor operational KPIs and compliance with Sanofi policies and guidelines including GDPR
Provide Level 2 support for this sub-process

The Payroll, Time, Attendance and Benefits admin Management Senior Specialist reports to Payroll, Time, Attendance and Benefits admin Management Team Supervisor - KL Platform and works closely with HR, BU heads, BU Admin/secretary, Internal Control, Internal Audit, Security, Legal, ITS Business Partners, Facilities management, Payroll and T&E BPO partner and EE front line teams in countries / regions.
Operations
Coordinate and manage payroll, time, attendance, and benefits admin activities in Workday and on the ground with the various stakeholders relating to Sanofi entities within the perimeter of SBS China, Asia, Japan and Pacific and deliver the services as per their respective Service Level Agreements
E2E Payroll process complete all required steps, coordinate with the various stakeholders to make an efficient and seamless payroll experience
Manage all data input for payroll in the payroll system and related systems, coordinate with external parties for taxation, Social security, government insurance etc as required
Provide payroll journal
Provide actual HC report
Provide accurate data for budgeting purpose
Monitor data quality and identify potential issues and take pro-active measures
Prepare periodic reporting and ad-hoc reports
Contribute to business reviews
Ensure compliance of processes, transactions and reports with Sanofi policies and guidelines
Monitor operational KPIs to pro-actively manage execution issues
Supervise and coach the team of analysts
Provide expertise and coaching
Anticipate workload and allocate resources for effective and efficient delivery
Select and hire employees
Evaluate employee performance, determine training needs, develop talent
Address performance issues and make recommendations for personnel actions
Motivate and reward employees by recommending salary increases, bonuses and promotions
Build, document and transfer EE Core Model process knowledge (Level 6/7) relating to employee life cycle management
Provide Level 2 support for this sub-process as per the Customer Service process in Service Now and contribute to the Knowledge Database
Continuous improvement
Identify process improvement opportunities through elimination of redundant activities
Participate in process automation initiatives and ensure seamless adoption and transition
Participate in global projects as required
