Quality Control : Ensure all compounded medications meet established standards for potency, purity, and dosage, conducting required testing and documentation for every batch.
Patient Counseling : Provide clear and accurate instructions to patients on the proper use of compounded medications, including dosing, administration, and potential side effects.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all compounding activities are conducted in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as guidelines from the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and other relevant bodies.
Record Keeping : Maintain detailed and accurate records of compounded medications, formulations, and processes, ensuring traceability for patient safety and regulatory purposes.
