Planning Officer

Job Description Responsibilities: Work with Planning Manager to monitor, follow-up and coordinate production schedules to meet buyer needs dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
Analyzes production and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes and capacity?requirements.
Review delay schedules and propose solution to meet unforeseen conditions.
Review production status with manufacturing facilities and report plant capacity constraints regularly.
Assist Planning Manager in monitoring workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Prepares production planning and scheduling reports and other related documentations.
Assists Planning Manager on daily operation issues.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent experience
Understanding of ERP system and Microsoft Office products; strong computer skills.
Minimum of 2 years previous planning experience
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Create and maintain production, work, and shipment schedules and prioritize job orders for production optimization.
