Job Overview: The Planning & Scheduling Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the project planning and scheduling processes.
This role ensures the efficient execution of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The individual will manage a team, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide critical support to the project team to help achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Project Planning & Scheduling Activities: Manage the Project Control Team: Collaborate with Project Teams: Provide Timely Project Status Reports: Develop and Maintain Project Schedules, Resource Plans, and Budgets: Monitor Project Progress and Identify Risks: Ensure Compliance with Project Management Standards: Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and control, ideally within the oil & gas, construction, or similar industries.
Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
