**Job Description**
+ Responsible as location leader for local plant
+ To derive, define, implement, and drive the plant strategy from higher-level strategic targets, in order to ensure the expectations of the customer and the profit of the company
+ Preparation of the plant and its employees according to the Production System to meet new requirements (internal and external)
+ Planning, optimization, and permanent controlling of all plant factors in the steering of all activities
+ Based on Production System and Automotive Manufacturing Management Principles, alignment of the plant and customer interfaces, development, and implementation of efficient organization structures, procedures, and processes
+ Ensure the implementation of global standards and processes, as well as global concepts
+ Ensures the manufacturability of products in the responsibility defined in the PLC, in order to guarantee an optimal launch, serial production, and phase out including management of changes and spare parts
+ Drive the implementation of the Technology Roadmap in order to improve the plant capacity and address production requirements according to Business Unit strategies
+ Ensures the quality of components, processes, and products in order to fulfill internal and customer targets (Zero Defect Approach)
+ Drive the implementation of quality standards and processes (e.g. Supplier Quality, APQP, Q-System, etc...) according to Continental Quality policy and Automotive requirements
+ Ensures Quality Ownership within Organization
+ Responsible for the execution of Layered Process Audit (LPA)
+ Drives continuous improvements
+ Flexible controlling and balancing between short-term customer requirements and not planned occurrences within the plant in order to obtain the optimal load and achieve the maximum customer satisfaction (on-time deliveries)
+ Build, develop/ coach and retain a diverse team
+ Ensure a continuous knowledge and competency management as well as human resources development; teaches and coaches the team to further develop the organization
+ Develop successors and define the development plans of the employees & steer the implementation
+ Define and implement the entire HR planning of internal and external employee capacity and competence for the plant and arrangement of work-, labor time- and payment models
+ Responsible to set up and execute rules for Visitor Management (handling of visitors, visualization of visitors)
+ Local representation of the Continental AG in different committees and associations
**Job Requirements**
+ Degree/Master in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline minimum 10 years of working experience in automotive business and understanding of automotive environment
+ Cross-functional experience in at least 2 different functional areas
+ At least 3 years experience in Strategic and business planning experience, Customer Relationship Management & Project Manager in the area of lean manufacturing and quality management
+ Leader of an international project involving multiple locations preferred
+ At least 7 years in a leadership position, preferably in operational units such as a factory, with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals
+ Experience in working with international teams and understanding of different foreign cultures
+ Stayed abroad or has got a professional international assignment for at least 1 year
+ Fluent proficiency in English
